About us
Leilei Colourcraft is a textile studio based in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to the quiet beauty of handcrafted dyeing traditions. We curate and collaborate with Bai artisans to bring you the finest examples of tie-dye and wax-resist textiles, each piece shaped by breath, stitch, and story.
Our collections—Crafted Apparels, Oleivia Playwear, and Dyer’s House—are dyed in small batches using natural techniques that honour both the environment and the heritage they come from. No two pieces are ever the same. From skirts with soft-gather waists to noren curtains that carry the rhythm of daily life, every item is selected with care and shared with a worldwide audience that values meaning over mass production.
We are deeply committed to textile sustainability. That means working with natural fibres, plant-based dyes, and low-impact processes that respect water, soil, and seasonality. We choose slow textiles over fast fashion—crafting pieces that are made to last, age gracefully, and leave a lighter footprint.
We believe textiles carry more than pattern—they carry presence. Whether worn, hung, or gifted, our work invites you to slow down, to notice, and to connect.
